About this role:

As a Senior Product Designer at Absorb, you will lead the design process from concept to launch, transforming complex product requirements into intuitive, user-centric designs. Collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams, you'll leverage user research and data-driven insights to refine features and inform the product roadmap. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and quality within our design culture, ensuring that our products deliver exceptional value to Absorb’s customers.

What you’ll do:

• Own the design lifecycle from concept to launch, including user research, problem definition, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and implementation support.
• Develop and maintain wireframes, high-fidelity designs, component libraries, iconography, and detailed specifications for the engineering team.
• Translate complex product requirements into delightful and usable designs that boost user satisfaction and engagement.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to define and refine product features and the roadmap.
• Utilize insights from user research and analytics to inform design decisions and iterate on existing features.
• Contribute to the design culture at Absorb pushing the boundaries of design innovation and quality.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of product design experience with a track record of launching successful software products.
• 2+ years of working within Agile methodologies and collaborating in cross-functional product design teams.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality design work across mobile and web platforms.
• Mastery in all aspects of product design including UX/UI and visual design, information architecture, design systems, typography, content, and accessibility. Solid knowledge of Figma.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, UX research methodologies, and the design thinking process.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design vision and decisions to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in marketing design and data visualization.
• Experience in the eLearning industry or designing educational technology products.
• Knowledge of front-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).
