Enterprise Sales Executive, Outbound

About the role:

We are seeking a results-driven, positive, dynamic Enterprise Sales Executive to join our expanding team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for progressing outbound leads, generating direct and partner-led organic pipeline and driving the sales engagement process to closure. The ideal candidate is a great communicator - which starts with listening and learning – who can map a powerful offering to the needs of prospective customers. What you’ll do:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential clients within the Learning Management industry.
  • Generate new leads through targeted outreach, networking and industry events and partnerships.
  • Leverage a sales methodology and qualification system to qualify prioritize, forecast, and win opportunities.

Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, pain points, and requirements.
  • Engage customers in a thoughtful discovery process and eventually showcase the value proposition of our software.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT professionals, and project managers.

Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contract finalization.
  • Diligently utilize CRM (Salesforce) software to track interactions, update client information, and forecast sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and Customer Success to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company objectives.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, with 3 to 5 years of experience selling software or services.
  • Strong understanding of the learning and upskilling marketplace (or similar SaaS space) and its unique challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to exceed targets and trigger compensation accelerators.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
