As an SEO Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating, writing, and optimizing content to improve our organic search rankings and drive traffic to our website. You are a seasoned collaborator and someone that’s comfortable working with stakeholders and external partners to ensure digital content and messaging are always on brand and on point. What you’ll do:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to optimize website content, drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Deep dive into research for keyword potential and business impact.
• Identify content to upgrade and update on a quarterly basis.
• Write compelling, high-quality, and SEO-friendly website content including blog posts, articles, website copy, page descriptions and other digital assets.
• Execute on brand consistency and SEO objectives of all digital assets across channels, including assets created by partner agencies and contractors.
• Collaborate with the entire marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of content creation and website development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends including Generative AI, best practices and implement them in content strategies.
• Continuously monitor and report on Absorb content and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop content structure, formats, best practice frameworks and guidelines to ensure streamlined, consistent, and high-quality content creation.
• Identify opportunities for incorporating AI-driven content solutions to enhance our content production, distribution, and personalization efforts.

What you'll bring:

• A degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in a corporate SEO content role.
• A thorough understanding and experience in content writing for all platforms (digital, social, print, etc.)
• Knowledge of on-page and off-page ranking factors.
• Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting on website and keyword performance to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
• Experience with tools in marketing tools such as Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, ClickUp, Contentful, etc.
• Creative problem solver with a positive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Experience writing in a corporate B2B environment.
• Ability to proofread copy and review page layouts with a keen attention to detail.
